I am by no means a religious person so where did this come from? In fact I know. I was privileged to be invited to a friend's wedding. The bride had months to live. Like all the guests I arrived somewhat in trepidation. But in fact the day was a beautiful, joyous, uplifting occasion, especially for the radiant bride and her family who had a chance to celebrate her life while she was still there. During the service the Irish Blessing was read which I hadn’t paid attention to before. It struck me as a piece of profound beauty which lives with me still.

I'm still not religious but you can wonder aloud, can’t you?
