There’s a later song on this album called “Everybody Know’s its True” where you’ll see I made a momentous discovery about myself. Why did I largely ignore people’s foibles? Why did I find them hard to understand and stupid? Well suddenly I knew. It wasn’t them, it was me, and everything made sense even when it didn’t.
This is one of the favourite rockers I’ve written. Tom Petty with a synth lick. What’s not to like?
